The Denver Nuggets have turned into one of the best franchises in the NBA recently thanks to their superstar center Nikola Jokic.

Jokic helped lead the Nuggets for their first championship in franchise history in 2023 and he has become arguably the greatest player in the world currently.

On Monday, Jokic was recognized on Bleacher Report’s list of the top 100 players in NBA history, along with five other Denver legends.

Among the players representing the Nuggets on Bleacher Report’s list was Chauncey Billups (91), Dikembe Mutombo (81), Alex English (76), Carmelo Anthony (60), Allen Iverson (36) and Jokic (17).

Of course, all these players played a key role during their time in Denver but none more so than Jokic who has taken the Nuggets farther than any of their legends have thus far, and he still has a lot of his career left to continue to climb this list of all-time greats.

Jokic is a three-time MVP winner, a champion and Finals MVP winner and he will look to continue his historic career in the years to come.

While Jokic is dominating the NBA today for the Nuggets, they have had many great players play for them who made Bleacher Report’s list.

For English, he was the first true superstar in Denver as he was an eight-time All-Star and three-time All-NBA selection with the Nuggets.

Mutombo then took over as the Nuggets’ next star as he became one of the best shot blockers in league history, winning one of his four Defensive Player of the Year awards during his time in Denver.

Then came Anthony, who found a ton of success in Denver alongside both Billups and Iverson, who each played for the Nuggets near the end of their incredible careers.

Despite Anthony’s success, he was able to turn himself into a superstar after he was traded to the New York Knicks.

This is an incredible honor for all six of these players and by next offseason, Jokic may be on his way higher on this list.
