Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards roasted fans during a random Q&A session.
Anthony Edwards Has Hilarious 2-Word Message for Fans About Next Season originally appeared on Athlon Sports.
Anthony Edwards is quickly becoming one of the league's superstar players, with his popularity growing with each passing season. A lot of that is due to his entertaining skills on the court, coupled with his fun-natured personality.
The Minnesota Timberwolves are hoping to see continued growth from his game as they seek to contend with the likes of Oklahoma City, Houston, and Denver in the challenging Western Conference.
Ant-Man mentioned that he has much more time to focus on his game than he previously did. In an eye-opening moment this offseason, Chicago Cubs players spotted the NBA star running up the stairs at Target Field, the Minnesota Twins' stadium.
In addition to working hard to improve, he doesn't shy away from interacting with the fans and making things fun for those involved. He has appeared at recent NBA Summer League games in Las Vegas to support teammates and signed autographs for young kids who approached him courtside.
More recently, Edwards randomly decided to conduct a Q&A session with his fans on social media. He said they could ask anything, and a collection of questions with his replies quickly went viral on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Fans asked for help sitting courtside at an NBA game, or if Ant-Man believed he was someone's twin. Another fan asked him to drop a hint about which aspect of his game he's working on the most this summer.
The answer from Edwards remained the same in each of these scenarios: "Hell nawl."

Edwards' "Hell nawl" phrase is one that the Timberwolves star created himself. After Ant-Man first used it, the two-word phrase was used heavily by social media commenters, according to Yardbarker.
Last season, Edwards ranked fourth overall in the NBA with his 27.6 points per game. He also averaged 5.7 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game.
His scoring average has improved each season, and his rebounding was just below that. However, his assists were down from the previous season.
Some fans and analysts have suggested that he may need to elevate his playmaking for the 2025-26 season to involve his teammates more effectively. For now, it remains a mystery for which aspects of Edwards' game he upgraded when the Timberwolves return to action.
And for those wondering, he didn't just roast fans for the entirety of his Q&A session. While that would've been hilarious too, there were also some more telling replies in the AMA thread, which he surprisingly did on Threads.
For example, Edwards said he loves the snow aspect of living in Minnesota and playing for the Wolves. He also showed support for Minnesota Lynx star Napheesa Collier in the WNBA as one of his favorites to watch, and said he's focused on winning above all else.
