Even though it's the NBA offseason, Golden State Warriors superstar Steph Curry got his competitive juices flowing, albeit in a different sports realm. The two-time NBA Most Valuable Player participated in the 2025 edition of the American Century Championship at Lake Tahoe that concluded on Sunday, with Curry carding a 58 to finish fifth overall.
Aside from being truly great in basketball, Curry is also an avid golfer. He gave his golf resume a big boost in 2023 when he won that year's iteration of the American Century Championship, and one can expect to see more of the future Basketball Hall of Famer teeing off in future events.
The tournament also provided an avenue for Curry to link up with a former teammate in Kent Bazemore, who suited up in three seasons with Golden State.
Bazemore shared a post on Instagram showing him and Curry together amid the tourney.
"Always nice to reconnect. Iron sharpening iron. Callused minds. Young leaders. Purpose work," wrote Bazemore as a caption.
Curry later acknowledged Bazemore's post by resharing it and adding a message that read "my guy."
Despite not winning the tournament, Curry succeeded in announcing his return to the event after missing it in 2024 due to his 2024 Paris Olympics duties with Team USA.
Former NHL star Joe Pavelski ended up topping the American Century Championship field with an overall score of 78, while Baseball Hall of Famer and former Cy Young winner John Smoltz placed second with a 64.
