The Fever were dominant on Sunday.
Indiana Fever Announce New Franchise Record in Blowout Win Against Wings originally appeared on Athlon Sports.
The Indiana Fever made it two straight wins on Sunday with a dominant display against the Dallas Wings. After taking down the Atlanta Dream on Friday, 99-82, the Fever flexed their collective muscle against Paige Bueckers and Co. to score a lopsided 102-83 victory at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
This is just the second time this season that Indiana has scored 100 points in a game, which speaks volumes about their offensive onslaught against the Wings. In fact, the Fever were able to set a new franchise record in scoring during Sunday’s contest. The team took to social media to make the announcement after their big win.
“closed out the homestand with back-to-back DUBS 🏠‼️ we set a franchise record with 64 points in the first half & had five players in double figures in the W over Dallas at @GainbridgeFH 🔥” the team posted on X.

As the post indicated, it was a concerted team effort for the Fever as they tied their season-high mark in scoring. Kelsey Mitchell led the way with 20 points, while Natasha Howard wasn’t far behind with 18. Aliyah Boston and Sophie Cunningham chipped in with 17 and 13 points, respectively.
Caitlin Clark also logged double digits in this one with 14 points, but she went just 4-of-12 from the field as her shooting struggles continued. The reigning WNBA Rookie of the Year dished out 13 assists, though, as she showcased her elite passing skills against Bueckers and the Wings.
The Fever get a day off on Monday but are set to face a tough back-to-back test on the road against the Connecticut Sun and the New York Liberty on Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively.
Clark and Co. will want to keep their foot on the gas for those two upcoming road games as they look to enter the All-Star break on a high.
