The New York Knicks have had an interesting offseason thus far as they have made multiple moves to upgrade their depth to help them chase a title next season.

New York began their offseason by firing head coach Tom Thibodeau and they recently hired his replacement in former Sacramento Kings coach Mike Brown.

They then signed Guerschon Yabusele and Jordan Clarkson to cheap contracts in free agency to upgrade their depth, an area they struggled in last season.

While the Knicks are continuing to find ways to upgrade their roster, one of their key players made headlines on social media on Tuesday as Josh Hart had a clear reaction to a statistic regarding Pittsburgh Pirates star Paul Skenes.

Skenes has a 1.20 ERA in July, yet he has not won a game since May and Hart made his thoughts clear about what the MLB should do.

“For the love of God. This is malpractice…someone make the MLB force a trade,” Hart posted on social media regarding Skenes’ key statistic.

Of course, Skenes started his second career MLB All-Star Game on Tuesday night and he is once again in the mix to win the NL Cy Young award this season.

Despite another incredible season by the flamethrowing right hander, the Pirates have continued to struggle to support him during his outings on the offensive side as he holds a 4-8 record on the season despite his 2.01 ERA.

It is clear that Hart believes that the MLB should force the Pirates to trade him, which will not be the case as Pittsburgh has already made it clear that they have no intention of trading him this season.

While that may be the case, the Pirates need all the help they can get to return to being contenders and trading Skenes would allow them to add a nice trade package to upgrade their roster and farm system.
