Tallison Teixeira's undefeated record is no more.

Derrick Lewis made sure of that.

Lewis took down Teixeira in a matter of seconds at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on Saturday night in stunning fashion. Lewis, who looked like he was stunned after taking an early blow, rallied and drilled Lewis to the ground with a left-handed punch to the chin. He then threw him into the corner, landed several shots to the head and forced the early knockout just 35 seconds in.

Naturally, that led to a massive celebration from Lewis in the Octagon. He ripped his shorts off and even briefly mooned the ESPN camera.

Lewis now holds a 29-12 record. His last fight, which he won via a knockout in the third round, came last May against Rodrigo Nascimento. Lewis fought for an interim title in August 2021, and an undisputed title back in 2018. He has 24 wins by knockout or technical knockout, including 16 in the UFC, which is the most in league history.

Tallison Teixeira entered the night with a perfect 8-0 record. He most recently beat Justin Tafa with a first-round knockout at UFC 312 in February. None of Teixeira's fights have made it past the first round.
