Angel Reese had just two words.

Angel Reese came up big again on Saturday as the Chicago Sky pulled off a massive upset against the league-best Minnesota Lynx. The Sky, who entered the game with a 6-13 record and the fourth-worst record in the league, were considered heavy underdogs against a Lynx side that has been dominating the league throughout the campaign.

Reese and Co., however, were having none of it. The two-time All-Star helped lead the way for Chicago with a 19-point, 11-rebound double-double, to go along with four assists and two steals in 35 minutes of action.

Thanks in part to Reese's big game, the Sky were able to emerge victorious against the Lynx, 87-81.

It wasn’t Reese’s star who shone the brightest on Saturday, though. It was veteran guard Ariel Atkins who took center stage for Chicago with one of her best performances of the season. Atkins went off against Minnesota, dropping a game-high 27 points on 12-of-21 shooting, to go along with three boards, an assist, two steals, a block and one triple.

Unsurprisingly, Atkins’ standout performance earned her Player of the Game honors from the Sky — a recognition that drew a two-word response from Reese on social media.

“A BUCKET,” Reese wrote, sharing the Sky’s announcement post.

Atkins, Reese and the rest of the Sky will have to do it all over again come Monday as they welcome the Lynx back to Wintrust Arena in a rematch. Chicago will want to prove that Saturday’s win was no fluke, but the Lynx, who fell to 18-4 after the loss, will be determined to make amends after their shock defeat.
