Lu Dort has NBA 2K26 rating revealed

As the NBA is in its driest part of the calendar, NBA 2K has taken advantage. In anticipation of its NBA 2K26 release, the annual video game has slowly rolled out the top 100 rated players. It's a tradition that sparks conversations as fans across the league argue their guy should be higher.

Fresh off an NBA championship, the Oklahoma City Thunder are prominently featured in the list. They have five players among the top 100. That shouldn't be a surprise. After all, they had one of the greatest seasons ever with a historic 68-14 regular-season record and a Larry O'Brien trophy.

One of those top 100 players is Lu Dort. He has an 81 overall ranking, which ranks No. 84. Other Thunder players in the top 100 are Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Jalen Williams, Chet Holmgren and Isaiah Hartenstein.

Dort had a career season where he finally won some individual accolades for his one-on-one defense. He was named to his first All-Defensive Team and finished fourth in Defensive Player of the Year. He also averaged 10.1 points and 4.1 rebounds while shooting 41.2% from 3 on 5.8 attempts.

The Thunder had one of the best defenses the NBA has ever seen last season. That side of the ball carried them to a championship. Dort headlined their defense by shutting down the opposition's best perimeter scorers. He's the reason why OKC only gave up a handful of 30-plus point scorers.
