The Milwaukee Bucks finished the 2024-25 season with a 48-34 record. While it was enough to clinch a playoff berth, they suffered a first-round exit against the Indiana Pacers.

The result triggered the noise surrounding the Bucks during the offseason. Rumors about a Giannis Antetokounmpo trade floated, and Damian Lillard left to reunite with the Portland Trail Blazers.

As the Bucks gear up for another campaign, the National Basketball Association released its schedule for the 2025-26 season. This information prompted Bleacher Report’s Andy Bailey to predict Milwaukee’s regular-season record.

The Milwaukee Bucks might show a slight decline in the 2025-26 season

Bailey projected the Bucks to have a 45-37 record, slightly worse than last season. “Someone is going to have to drastically outperform their career norms for the Bucks to enter the title contenders' tier,” he wrote.

The Bucks will remain competitive thanks to Antetokounmpo, who averaged 30 points, 11.6 rebounds, 6.1 assists, 1.1 blocks, and a steal per game in the last five seasons after winning his second MVP award.

While the Bucks must address the scoring void that Lillard left, Myles Turner boosts their rim protection, and Kyle Kuzma provides points off the bench. Likewise, a wide-open Eastern Conference race due to the Tyrese Haliburton and Jayson Tatum’s injuries could help their cause.

Meanwhile, FanDuel Sportsbook has the Bucks’ over/under at 42.5 wins. Milwaukee will open the season on October 22 against the Washington Wizards. Bookies.com’s Bill Speros also wrote that the Bucks will be among the least-travelled teams this season, ranking 26th with covering 36,807.4 miles across 36 time zones and 18 road trips.
