The Indiana Fever are widely considered the most well-known team in the WNBA, led by Caitlin Clark.
While much of the attention over the past two seasons has been on Clark and her All-Star teammates, Kelsey Mitchell and Aliyah Boston, all eyes were on Lexie Hull after a recent post.
During the WNBA season, Hull was dealt heartbreaking news. She suffered the loss of her dog, which has seemingly been in the Hull family for years.
Hull posted several photos of her and the dog on social media, one of which showcased their bond when the Fever star was younger.
"14 years with the sweetest mags," Hull said. "Home won’t be the same without you! Heaven got the best girl this week."
After Hull shared the news with fans on social media, Sophie Cunningham shared her reaction.
"nooooo Lex, I’m sorry," Cunningham, said.

Sophie Cunningham is playing in her first season with the Indiana Fever.
Before her time in Indiana, Cunningham spent years with the Phoenix Mercury, playing alongside WNBA stars Brittney Griner and Diana Taurasi.
While she was vocal about her past relationships with those two WNBA greats, Cunningham has also mentioned that she's built a tight bond with the Fever core, especially Caitlin Clark and Lexie Hull.
During her first season with the Indiana Fever, Sophie Cunningham has posted 5.2 points, 3.8 rebounds and 0.8 assists per game.
While Lexie Hull is currently dealing with the tragic loss, she received immediate support from Cunningham and many other teammates on social media.
