The Detroit Tigers took the first two games of their series against the Tampa Bay Rays at Comerica Park in Motown, giving manager AJ Hinch's team a chance to go for the three-game sweep on Thursday before a three-game set against the Seattle Mariners.

The Tigers beat the Rays by scores of 5-1 and 4-2 this past Monday and Tuesday, setting the stage for a big game on Wednesday at Comerica Park.

On Tuesday night, FanDuel Sports Network reporter Daniella Bruce shared an update on Wednesday's game in light of a weather system expected to hit the downtown Detroit area that will affect the start time of the series' third game.

"Due to forecasted inclement weather in the area tomorrow afternoon, the scheduled start time for Wednesday's Tigers vs. Rays series finale at Comerica Park has been adjusted from 1:10 p.m. to 5:10 p.m.," Bruce wrote on her X account on Tuesday, following up an interview post with Tigers third baseman Colt Keith.

"Colt Keith is going yard again," a fan account wrote.

"Thanks for the heads up! I might actually be able to attend the game at work now," a second added.

"I love later games," a third said.

"Being proactive? I like that," a fourth added.

"Yess!!! Now I can make it!!!" a fifth added.

The Tigers are on a hot streak headed toward the July 15 All-Star Game in Atlanta, Georgia, which is expected to be a showcase for at least four Tigers players including Riley Greene and Tarik Skubal, debatably the team's two best players.
