As the NBA offseason continues, many teams have already made major splashes either in the draft, free agency or the trade market.

Despite this, there are still many big names still remaining in free agency who could all be a valuable asset to a contender next season.

Among those players is Russell Westbrook who had a career resurgence last year with the Denver Nuggets.

Last season, the 36-year-old point guard averaged 13.3 points, 4.9 rebounds, 6.1 assists and 1.4 steals per game while shooting 44.9% from the field and 32.3% from three-point range.

While Westbrook played well in Denver last season, it appears that he will likely be heading to a new team this summer after the Nuggets made multiple moves to upgrade their bench.

Because of this, Westbrook has been linked to many different teams but a new team has emerged as a potential landing spot for him.

According to ClutchPoints’ Brett Siegel, the Milwaukee Bucks are a team to watch for Westbrook in free agency.

“In recent days, another team has suddenly emerged as a possible suitor for Westbrook: the Milwaukee Bucks. The expectation surrounding the Bucks is that they will be utilizing one of their final roster spots to add extra guard depth after bringing back Kevin Porter Jr. and Ryan Rollins in free agency. Given Westbrook's athleticism and speed, he would be an ideal fit next to Giannis Antetokounmpo on a Bucks team that likes to push the pace in transition,” Siegel wrote.

Of course, the Bucks have made some interesting moves this summer, none bigger than signing Myles Turner in free agency and releasing Damian Lillard.

With Lillard now gone, the Bucks are in desperate need of a point guard and Westbrook would be able to fill their vacancy at the position.

Westbrook would give the Bucks a veteran scorer and playmaker next to Giannis and the rest of the lineup that could help them compete in the Eastern Conference next season.
