The Chicago Sky dropped to 5-13 during the 2025 WNBA season on Tuesday when they lost 81-79 against the Washington Mystics. All-Star forward Angel Reese scored a game-high 22 points and 15 rebounds for the Sky, as well as four assists in the loss.
Chicago will have to rebound quickly from this defeat, as they travel back home to play against the 6-14 Dallas Wings on Wednesday evening. This will mark the Sky's second back-to-back this season, as well as their third game in the last four days.
Dallas lost consecutive games against the Sky back in late May, but the Wings have won five of their last eight contests after a 1-11 start to the season.
The Wings have started eight different lineups in their 20 games during the 2025 WNBA season as a result of several key injuries. Starting guards DiJonai Carrington and Arike Ogunbowale have been sidelined since June 20 and 28, respectively.
Before Wednesday's matchup, Dallas released its injury report for the game against the Sky. Both Carrington and Ogunbowale, in addition to Ty Harris and Maddy Siegrist, will be out for the Wings.
Carrington has been nursing a rib injury, and Ogunbowale hurt her left thumb late last month. Ty Harris has been sidelined since May 27 with a left knee injury, and Maddy Siegrist has not played since June 11 after hurting her right knee.
