Caitlin Clark made a huge announcement.

The Indiana Fever have been without superstar guard Caitlin Clark for the past five games due to a groin injury.
Without the WNBA All-Star Game captain, the Fever were able to put together a 3-2 record, with the most notable win coming against the Minnesota Lynx in the WNBA Commissioner's Cup Championship.
While head coach Stephanie White made it clear they didn't want to rush Clark's return, as she has missed 10 of the team's 18 games this season due to injury, she is set to return on Wednesday against the Golden State Valkyries.
Something Clark was able to announce while speaking with the media on Tuesday, while also expressing how difficult it was to be out.
"It's nice to get back out there and get back into the flow of playing with my teammates again," Clark said. "It's going to be fun to get back out there, hopefully, and just feel things again. It's obviously hard sitting out and watching for a few weeks, so I'm excited to get out there."
In the games she has played this season, Clark has been relatively inconsistent at times. While she is still averaging 18.2 points, 5.0 rebounds and 8.9 assists, she has not been nearly as efficient as she was during her rookie season.
She is making just 39% of her shots from the field and just 29.5% of her threes. In fact, over her last three appearances, Clark has shot just 1-of-23 from deep.
While she will be looking to shake off some rust, she will have the chance to do so at home as the Fever will be hosting the Valkyries. The game is set to tip at 9:00 a.m. ET and will air on WNBA TV.
