Angel Reese picked up right where she left off for the Chicago Sky.
Reese has been playing at an incredible level during her second season in the WNBA, having recently been named an All-Star.
On Tuesday, Reese and the Sky headed into a game against the Washington Mystics, facing off against the Eastern Conference foe in the morning.
During the morning tip-off, Reese sank a long two-point jumper to kick off her scoring for the game.
The WNBA responded to the play by Reese while mentioning that the Sky star is looking to extend her historic streak.
"Angel Reese gettin' to work early," posted the official social media account of the WNBA. "She's looking for her 6th straight double-double today, after becoming the only player in W history to ever average 17+ PTS, 17+REB, & 5+ AST over a 5-game span! CHI-WAS | League Pass."

As the WNBA mentioned, Reese was looking for another double-double on the board. She entered the game as the only player in WNBA history to average 17+ points, 17+ rebounds and 5+ assists in a five-game span.
In her last five games with the Sky, Reese is averaging 17.4 rebounds per game, an unprecedented number for a WNBA player in her second season.
Throughout her second season in the WNBA, Reese has posted 12.6 points, 12.8 rebounds and 3.9 assists per game.
The Sky star leads her team in average rebounds and has continued to improve on the offensive end during her second season in Chicago.
