Officiating was a hot topic during the Fever-Wings game, and Stephanie White made her thoughts clear about who got the worst of it.
Fever Coach Stephanie White Names Worst Officiated WNBA Player Without Hesitation originally appeared on Athlon Sports.
The Indiana Fever dropped to 18-15 this season with a 81-80 loss to the Dallas Wings at home on Tuesday night.
Without Caitlin Clark, fellow 2025 WNBA All-Star selections Kelsey Mitchell and Aliyah Boston have been tasked with leading the team. They combined for 38 points in the loss.
According to head coach Stephanie White, they do not get the benefit of the superstar whistle.
"I think there’s a double standard in how people get their calls," White said in her post-game press conference.
"I think Kelsey Mitchell, number one, is held or chucked on every freaking possession and never gets a call off the ball," White continued.
White, who has four technical fouls this season and has been fined for criticizing WNBA officials, did not stop there.
"I think Aliyah Boston is the worst officiated post player in the league," White said without hesitation. "She never gets a call."
Boston and Mitchell went a combined 10-for-11 from the free throw line against Dallas. Over the course of the season, they average 7.8 combined free throw attempts per game, with Boston earning just 3.7.
In total, there were 36 fouls called in the game — 19 on Dallas and 17 on Indiana.
White unsuccessfully challenged a foul on Boston late in the fourth quarter, leaving the Fever without a full timeout on the final offensive possession with a chance to win the game.

It was a tightly officiated contest from the start, as Indiana guard Sophie Cunningham was called for a flagrant foul type 1 for a dangerous closeout on Paige Bueckers with 7:23 remaining in the first quarter.
At one point, White even had to be held back by Clark while protesting a no-call on Cunningham.
