Bayern Munich manager has expressed his thoughts on Jamal Musiala's injury in the Club World Cup quarterfinals.
Bayern Munich were on the receiving end of a 2-0 loss against Paris Saint-Germain in the quarterfinals of the Club World Cup on July 5 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia.
While this defeat led to Bayern Munich's elimination from the competition, it was not the end of bad news for the German club.
During the quarterfinal clash of the Club World Cup, Bayern Munich's academy graduate Jamal Musiala suffered a fracture to his left leg following a collision with PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.
The 22-year-old had to leave the pitch at the beginning of the second half.
A recent club statement confirmed that Musiala has successfully undergone surgery and will be sidelined for the next few months.
Speaking right after the clash, Bayern head coach Vincent Kompany expressed his anger over Musiala's injury.

What did Bayern Munich boss Vincent Kompany say?
Musiala just returned to the pitch last month after recovering from a torn muscle bundle that he suffered in April. After being sidelined for about 71 days and missing eight matches for Bayern, the German star has to be absent from the pitch again.
Kompany mentioned that the incident leading to Musiala's injury on Saturday had his blood boiling with rage while empathizing with the player's inability to perform despite his passion for the game.
"I've rarely been so angry at half time, not against my players - I know there are much more important things in life, but for these guys it’s their life. Someone like Jamal lives for this," as per @iMiaSanMia.
"He just came back from a setback and now this happens. You feel powerless. My blood is still boiling right now, not because of the result, that’s football. But because it happened to someone that enjoys the game so much."
While an exact date of his return has not been announced yet, according to Bayern's statement, Musiala is anticipated to miss the majority of the first half of the 2025/26 season.
Bayern will be kicking off their upcoming Bundesliga campaign by hosting RB Leipzig at the Allianz Arena on August 22.
