Dirk Nowitzki responded to a fan
Dirk Nowitzki Sends Clear Message to Fan Who Made Unexpected Request originally appeared on Athlon Sports.
Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame class of 2023 inductee Dirk Nowitzki shared a response on X to a fan “randomly” sending him a request.
The fan messaged Nowitzki to ask if he would like to fly to Istanbul and receive a hair transplant from one of the “best hair transplantation companies in the world.”
“And I brought many well-known people to these companies for hair transplantation,” the fan added. “We can help you with hair transplantation free of charge.”
The individual wrote that his company would cover Nowitzki’s airfare and other travel expenses and gave a brief description of its offerings.
“The clinics I work at provide services with the latest technology,” the fan continued. “We can perform hair transplantation without shaving. Moreover, you feel absolutely no pain.”
Some see the message Nowitzki received as random, as the former Dallas Mavericks All-Star forward still has his signature blond hair and seems in no danger of balding.
“Wow,” Nowitzki wrote in response. “Got this randomly. Are my power alleys getting that bad???
“Give me a couple more years and I will come see you, my guy.”

If Nowitzki is to go through with the transplant at some point in the future, he may not be the first NBA player to do so. Some believe Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James underwent a hair transplant at some point in his career, as his hair grew after balding for a while.
However, James has never answered those questions, although some say his hair now looks notably thicker than it did when he was younger.
