Flau'jae Johnson had a blunt message for Kara Lawson.

Over the past couple of weeks, the top college basketball players in the country represented Team USA in the FIBA Women's AmeriCup tournament in Chile.

The roster was headlined by Hannah Hidalgo (Notre Dame Fighting Irish), Olivia Miles (TCU Horned Frogs), Audi Crooks (Iowa State Cyclones) and Flau'jae Johnson (LSU Tigers).

After skating through the group stage with an average margin of victory of 43 points, the U.S. wasn't truly tested until playing Canada in the semifinals. They were able to beat Canada to advance to the title round and took down Brazil in the final 92-84.

While Johnson was expected to be a pivotal player for this team her minutes were slashed as the tournament went on, going from playing 19 in the first group stage game to playing just three in the semifinals and final round.

Regardless, she took to Instagram to express how grateful she was for the opportunity.

However, not lost in her long breakdown of how honored she was to be a part of the team, was a message to Duke Blue Devils coach Kara Lawson, who was leading this team.

"Last but not least, thank you, Kara Lawson can't wait to compete on 12/6," wrote Johnson.

While Johnson has the date wrong for the ACC/SEC Challenge clash, as the programs are set to face off Dec. 4, it's abundantly clear she is looking for revenge.

Throughout the tournament, Johnson averaged just 4.3 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1 assist per game, while shooting 32.4% from the field and 30% from three. However, it certainly had to feel like a slap in the face after she dropped 22 points against the Dominican Republic in the quarterfinals, only to play six minutes combined in the next two games.

Regardless, Johnson can now say she is a gold medalist and may also have some extra motivation moving forward.
