The PGA Tour is scheduled to head to the Renaissance Club in North Berwick, Scotland from July 10-13, giving the tour's star golfers an opportunity to show off their skills on rough terrain on one of the gold world's most challenging countries.

A $9 million purse and 500 FedEx Cup points (for the upcoming Aug. 6 FedEx Cup Playoffs) will be on the line as the field will attempt to follow in the footsteps of last year's winner Robert McIntyre. 

The event will be broadcast on CBS, the Golf Channel, and ESPN Plus with a talented field including Scottie Scheffler, Rory McIlroy and Justin Thomas expected to compete.

One PGA star who isn't expected to play is Jordan Spieth, who suffered an injury at last month's Travelers Championship that will keep him out of the field. 

On Sunday, a famous sports talk show host made an announcement that is sure to pique the interest of Spieth fans everywhere. 

"3x Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes and 3x Major Champion Jordan Spieth tomorrow at 11 a.m. ET," talk show host Kay Adams wrote on X Sunday, announcing arguably the biggest pair of guests in the history of her 'Up & Adams' show.

"Yay we missed you Kay I thought you weren't doing your shows anymore?" one fan said. 

"It's a wrap," another fan coyly said.

"Welcome back! Hope you had a nice break!" another added. 

Spieth, who hails from Dallas, Texas, has four top 10 finishes on the Tour this season but has not won an event. Injuries have set him back significantly during what was expected to be a breakout season by many fans.
