After arriving with the Phillies ahead of the 2022 MLB season, he's finished in the top-20 in National League MVP voting every year. He's on pace to finish runner-up to MVP favorite, Shohei Ohtani this season. As per FanDuel Sportsbook, Schwarber currently stands as the second favorite to win the award (plus-550).
Schwarber is also on pace for a career-high, 58 home runs this season after his two-home run performance against the Baltimore Orioles on Monday night.
As per @MLBStats on X, if Schwarber is able to hit more than 58 home runs this season, he'll break Ryan Howard's record for the most home runs in a single season in Phillies franchise history.

Schwarber's first home run of the night came in the third inning, when he launched a 427-foot bomb into the third deck inside Citizens Bank Park.
Schwarber's second bomb was a towering grand slam in sixth inning, that sent Phillies fans into an absolute frenzy. The Phillies would go on to blowout the Orioles 13-3 behind Schwarber's power surge.
Schwarber's two blasts were home runs No. 39 and 40 on the year for the Phillies All-Star, designated hitter. Schwarber has now hit at least 40 home runs in three of the last four seasons and has hit at least 30 home runs in seven of his 11 seasons in MLB.
Schwarber now sits at 324 career home runs which ranks No. 131 on the All-Time home run list. He also ranks No. 11 in All-Time home runs among active players.
Howard, the Phillies legend, first baseman Schwarber is chasing, hit 382 home runs (all for the Phillies) during his 13-year MLB career.
