Five years after leaving Anderlecht, Samuel Ntanda is back in Neerpede. The Congolese U21 international arrives from Sampdoria FC.
The Brussels club announced the transfer on its official X account, featuring a photo of the 20-year-old donning the iconic purple kit.
Trained at Anderlecht, the captain of the U20 Leopards has already represented three Belgian clubs—KV Mechelen, STVV Jgd, and St. Truiden—before heading to Italy.
With Sampdoria, he made just one Serie A appearance, against Napoli on matchday 38 of the 2022-2023 season, and featured nine times in Serie B during the 2023-2024 campaign.
RSC Anderlecht currently tops the Belgian league with two wins from two matches. The club is also competing in the third qualifying round of the UEFA Europa Conference League, with a highly anticipated clash against Sheriff scheduled for this Thursday.
He’s back. 🇧🇪🇨🇩 Cinq ans après son départ, Samuel Ntanda, le capitaine des Espoirs congolais, est de retour à Neerpede en provenance de la Sampdoria FC.
