Fever Coach Stephanie White Stole the Spotlight With Her Outfit for Storm Game originally appeared on Athlon Sports.
The Indiana Fever’s social media team decided to mix things up a bit on Sunday ahead of their road matchup against the Seattle Storm. Their mandatory players' pregame outfits post featured a special guest as head coach Stephanie White found herself joining her players in the tunnel walk.
It’s usually the likes of Caitlin Clark, Sophie Cunningham and Lexie Hull who dominate these outfit posts, but in a rather unusual turn of events, Coach White ended up stealing the spotlight along with her players.
Fans React to Stephanie White’s Game-Day Outfit
The most eye-catching element of White’s ensemble was her special edition Fever sweatshirt. The piece is part of the team’s recent collaboration with Netflix for the upcoming final season of the highly popular series “Stranger Things.”
White paired the casual-looking sweatshirt with black jogger-style sweatpants that completed her classic loungewear fit. The 48-year-old finished off her look with white athletic sneakers, which had red detailing that was on-theme with the Fever’s color palette.

The fans on social media could not help but react to White’s game-day ensemble.
“Coach White so beautiful ❤️❤️” a comment on Instagram read
“Sophie and Coach White 🔥🔥🔥” another said.
“Coach 🥵🫠” posted a user.
“hi coach 🔥🙌” a reaction read.
“damn coach white…😯” another said.
“Damn Coach White is looking fine today 🙌” wrote a supporter.
To be perfectly honest, there’s really nothing incredibly outstanding about White’s outfit for Sunday’s game. However, her overall laid-back yet no-nonsense vibe was clearly a big hit among the fans.
White Heaps Praise on Her Squad
White coached her team to their fifth straight victory on Sunday, which is a season-best streak for the Fever. The fact that this was their seventh consecutive contest without the services of the injured Caitlin Clark makes this run even more impressive.
White had nothing but praise for her team after they held off a strong comeback attempt from the Storm late in the game.
“They know one another a little bit better now,” she said in her postgame press conference. “We’re maturing and how we handle situations and how we handle runs. We stayed neutral. We didn’t get too high, we didn’t get too low.
“I was proud of our group for how we stayed not just together, because we always stay together, but how we stayed even, and we came down and we went to the next play. We made some big plays in key moments that allowed us to win the ballgame.”
Indiana will now be looking to carry this momentum into their next matchup. This comes in the form of another road game on Tuesday as they battle the Los Angeles Sparks at Crypto.com Arena.
