The 5-11 Chicago Sky are back in action on Sunday night as they take on the 16-2 Minnesota Lynx. But ahead of the 7 p.m. EST matchup, some big news was announced regarding second-year forward Angel Reese.
For the second consecutive season, Reese has been named a WNBA All-Star — the only player from the Sky roster to receive the honor.
Shortly after the announcement, Reese took to social media to credit her teammates and coaches for helping her earn the nod, writing: “Individual awards are team awards! Wouldn’t be able to do this without them!”
She also shared some exciting personal news: Reese is releasing limited-edition All-Star shirts featuring her newly trademarked phrases — "MEBOUNDS" and "SHEBOUNDS."

Reese has quickly become one of the brightest young stars in the WNBA — and in all of professional sports — thanks to the attention and excitement she brings to the game. This season, she’s averaging 12.4 points, 12.6 rebounds, 3.8 assists, and 1.8 steals per game.
Off the court, Reese has made just as much of an impact. With numerous partnerships and brand deals under her belt, she’s also carved out space as a business force. In addition to trademarking her own phrases, she’s set to release her signature sneaker with Reebok in 2026 — a launch that’s expected to be a major moment for the brand.
