Texas HC Steve Sarkisian confirms Inside Texas reporting: “Andre (Cojoe) sustained a season ending injury. Hate that for him. He’d been working hard to get into a competitive state.”

Steve Sarkisian: “You have to practice football to get good at football.”

Steve Sarkisian says today’s practice was physical “all day, which I liked.” — “This is a very physical league that we play in. The line of scrimmage is critical on both sides of the ball.”

Steve Sarkisian says “we’ve been good” as far as QBs taking care of the ball but admits yesterday was “not our best practice. — Says Manny Muhammad has had a couple of interceptions in recent days. Mentions Jelani McDonald and Warren Roberson have played the ball well.

Sark on depth at TE: “I’ve seen a lot of growth in Spencer Shannon, credit to him. — Also mentioned Emaree Winston and Nick Townsend, who both have “athleticism and playmaking ability.”

Sark says DJ Campbell was back at practice. Ryan Wingo will have one more day off tomorrow and then the plan is to have him going on Thursday.
