Bayern Munich predicted XI v PSG: Konrad Laimer or Alphonso Davies to start?

As Bayern Munich approach the first leg of their UEFA Champions League semi-final against reigning champions Paris Saint-Germain, there are few doubts about the team that Vincent Kompany will align, although there is one question mark.

Bayern Munich are without Serge Gnabry, Lennart Karl, and Tom Bischof. The former is out until the end of the season due to a thigh injury. However, there aren’t many injuries to contend with, leaving Kompany with one notable decision to make.

That decision pertains to the left-back slot. The decision is between Konrad Laimer and Alphonso Davies. L’Équipe understands that it is the former who will get the nod at the Parc des Princes, although the latter is being considered due to his pace being potentially valuable against Ousmane Dembélé and, potentially, Bradley Barcola, should he start. L’Équipe, however, understands that it will be Désiré Doué who gets the nod on the right of the PSG attack.

Bayern Munich likely line-up v PSG

Manuel Neuer; Konrad Laimer, Jonathan Tah, Dayot Upamecano, Josip Stanisic; Aleksandar Pavlovic, Joshua Kimmich; Luis Diaz, Jamal Musiala, Michael Olise; Harry Kane. (L’Éq)
