Courier Journal readers can vote for the Louisville-area football preseason quarterback of the year. The poll closes Aug. 7. Meet the nominees.
Zane Johnson has a chance to lead Trinity to a third straight Class 6A state championship after a standout showing a year ago. But does that mean he'll be the best quarterback in the Louisville area? Or will Larry Irvin have his best showing in his third year as Ballard's starting signal caller?
The area won't be short of strong quarterback play this season. Vote for who you think is the best ahead of the season, which begins Aug. 22.
The poll closes at 6 p.m. Thursday, and the winner will be announced Friday.
