The Toronto Maple Leafs were previously linked to Nazem Kadri in a possible trade reunion.
It sounds like the Calgary Flames may not be interested in sending Kadri away, though.
TSN's Darren Dreger suggested Calgary doesn't actually want to trade Kadri. He has a full no-movement clause until next summer.
Kadri was the seventh overall pick in the 2009 NHL Draft by the Maple Leafs.
He spent his first 10 NHL seasons in Toronto, putting up 161 goals and 196 assists in a Maple Leafs uniform.
From there, he went to Colorado, and then he spent the last three seasons in Calgary.

In total, Kadri has played 985 NHL games and scored 307 goals with 403 assists.
Kadri is also a physical presence, with 1,174 career hits.
But if Calgary doesn't pursue a deal, none of that matters.
He'd be a coveted trade target, even at 34 years old. But he might be staying put, at least for now.
