It's been a long road back for WNBA star Cameron Brink but she's finally been given the green light to return to the floor following last year's season-ending ACL and meniscus tear.

13 months after her promising rookie year ended prematurely, the 6-foot-4 LA Sparks forward has officially been listed as active by the team. Clearing the decks for Brink to make her 2025 debut in tonight's game vs. Las Vegas.

The former No. 2 pick was averaging 7.5 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 1.1 steals and 2.3 blocks per game before suffering the injury on June 18. And in the 15 contests she was able to play in she had already proved to be a strong defensive force in the middle of the paint.

"Cameron Brink returns tonight 👏" the WNBA posted.

Fans were happy to have her back on X.

"Let's go Cam!!! 💪🏻💪🏻" Lindsey Vonn replied.

"Can't wait to watch 🙌🏼" a user exclaimed.

"I'm ready to watch her dominate," a fan said.

"Sparks have a full, complete, and healthy roster! That's all that matters! Please don't put too much pressure on Cam~ just happy she's well enough to hit the court!" another person commented.

"We will be watching," another user stated.

"welcome back Cam!!!"

"My favorite player is back!" another fan shared. "Let's go!"

Brink will more than likely be on a minutes restriction for the foreseeable future but says she can't wait to be back out there with her ladies.

"It means the world," Brink told sports reporter John W. Davis yesterday. "I'm just very excited, very humbled by this experience. It's no easy thing to come back from. Just really excited."

The Sparks are currently 11-14 and just 1.5 games out of the fourth seed in the West. Adding Brink to the mix should only help LA's chances; but it's understandably going to take some time for her to get back to the play we've become accustomed to since her days at Stanford.
