Here's everything we know about Super Bowl LXI in 2027, including where and when it will take place and what channel it will be on.
Super Bowl LX is over.
That makes this the perfect time to start thinking ahead to Super Bowl LXI.
Here's everything we know about the next NFL championship game:
When is Super Bowl LXI?
Feb. 14, 2027. Football fans, now is the time to set yourself a reminder to make early Valentine's Day plans for next year. You don't want to have to sleep on the same couch your buddy spilled guacamole dip all over during the big game, do you?

Where will Super Bowl LXI be played?
Right here at SoFi Stadium, baby! It will be the second Super Bowl at the home of the Rams and Chargers in Inglewood. Last time was Super Bowl LVI following the 2021 season, when the Rams raised the Lombardi Trophy in their home stadium after a 23-20 win over the Cincinnati Bengals.

What channel will Super Bowl LXI be on?
The game will be broadcast on ESPN and simulcast on Disney sister network ABC. "Monday Night Football" announcers Joe Buck and Troy Aikman will likely man the booth for their seventh Super Bowl together (and first since leaving Fox for ESPN in 2022). It will be ESPN's first Super Bowl and the first one to be shown on ABC since Super Bowl XL following the 2005 season, which had Al Michaels and John Madden in the booth.

Which teams will play in Super Bowl LXI?
The Rams and Chargers, duh! Seriously, though, the Rams seem to have a good shot at representing the NFC after falling just short this year and with reigning league MVP Matthew Stafford definitely coming back for at least one more season. Of course, the Seahawks could be back, not to mention other recent participants in the Philadelphia Eagles or San Francisco 49ers. Lots of teams could challenge the Patriots in the AFC, too, such as the Denver Broncos, Buffalo Bills, Houston Texans and, sure, possibly the Chargers.

Who is performing the Super Bowl LXI halftime show?
It will be hard to top the halftime show from the last Super Bowl at SoFi Stadium. That hip-hop extravaganza was headlined by Dr. Dre and featured performances Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar, Mary J. Blige, Eminem and 50 Cent.
Maybe this time Guns N' Roses can headline a tribute to the Sunset Strip hard rock scene?
Or if the NFL wants someone more current, how about Highland Park's Billie Eilish or San Bernardino's Fuerza Regida, both of whom were among Spotify's most-streamed artists globally in 2025 (a list topped by this year's halftime performer Bad Bunny)?
