Thiesse and Dropkin ensured Sunday that they'll be in the semifinals and have a chance at potentially claiming an Olympic medal.
It was a bumpy journey. They started 4-0, then were handed their first loss by a top-notch Great Britain team. The U.S. needed a big rebound on Sunday to advance, and they came through.
A win over Sweden ensured Thiesse and Dropkin would get to keep competing.
