Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick has found himself taken aback by the talents of the latest breakthrough sensation at the club.
That’s according to Diario Sport, who point towards Pedro ‘Dro’ Fernández as the player in question.
The name of youngster Dro has of course emerged as a prominent one in the headlines surrounding Barcelona over the last couple of days.
This comes after the 17-year-old was afforded his senior debut in the colours of the Blaugrana, in the club’s pre-season opener against Vissel Kobe.
Not only that, but Dro went on to open his goalscoring account in the clash, courtesy of a brilliant volley from the edge of the penalty area.
As much comes after what was a stellar showing on the part of the versatile attacker in pre-season in Catalunya’s capital.
And as alluded to above, the significance of such excellene, at such a young age, has not gone at all unappreciated on the part of either Dro’s new teammates, or manager.
As per a report from Sport:
‘This boy combines natural technical skills, an enormous intelligence to interpret the game and a humility and simplicity that have made Flick and the entire Barça dressing room fall in love.’
