Jonathan Kuminga is getting his wish. After the fifth-year wing demanded last month the Golden State Warriors trade him, they dealt him and Buddy Hield to Atlanta for center Kristaps Prozingis.
The Golden State Warriors fulfilled forward Jonathan Kuminga's trade request Wednesday night.
Kuminga is heading to the Atlanta Hawks with Buddy Hield in exchange for Kristaps Porzingis, league sources confirmed to the Chronicle. Kuminga gets the fresh start he desires with an upstart team in the Eastern Conference alongside Hield. Golden State acquires a spacing center who protects the rim.
Additionally, the Warriors traded center Trayce Jackson-Davis to the Toronto Raptors for a 2026 second-round draft pick via the Los Angeles Lakers, league sources confirmed.
