Whiteford clung to a 19-17 lead at halftime, then opened up an 8-point advantage with 17 points in the third quarter.
The 14-3 Bobcats used free throws – including 5-of-6 by Caden Schroyer – to hold off their guests.
Schroyer led Whiteford with 16 points while Drew Ruddy and Cole Griffith tossed in 9 apiece.
Owen Snyder and Cam Riggs topped the offense for 10-6 Ida with 9 and 8 points, respectively.
"We struggled to score both from the floor and at the free-throw line," Ida coach Jared Karner said. "I love this team in that they never give up. Even when we dig ourselves a hole, we try our hardest to dig out."
