Even though there have been some minor issues, it is safe to say that Marcus Rashford has been a successful addition at FC Barcelona this season.
Arriving on loan from Manchester United, the 28-year-old Englishman has impressed with his productivity in front of goal, even though his off-the-ball game has not always been up to the mark.
Pleased by his performances, Barcelona are considering making the forward’s signing permanent.
The Catalans have a €30 million buy clause inserted in the agreement with Manchester United, but reports suggest that they are reluctant to pay that fee.
Barcelona want to activate buy option
However, now, according to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona intend to exercise the €30 million purchase option and keep Rashford at the club beyond this season.

With ten goals and 13 assists to his name from 33 games across all competitions, the England international has delivered some remarkable performances in the Blaugrana colours this season.
Barça, for their part, are very happy with what they have seen from the attacker and are prepared to activate the €30 million buy clause contrary to reports.
Rashford, on his part, is also happy with how things are going for him at the Catalan club. So, despite the possibility of returning to the Manchester United project under Michael Carrick, the 28-year-old wishes to continue at Barcelona.
The Englishman might need to adjust his salary in order for the move to go through seamlessly, but as things stand, both Rashford and Barcelona appear to be on board with a permanent transfer in the summer.
