Premier League 2 captain Jacob Devaney will also have an opportunity to showcase his talents in the Scottish Premiership for St Mirren.

Gabriele Biancheri

The Peoples Person recently relayed that Real Betis were interested in securing the lethal United academy star.

Nonetheless, a deal fell through as United decided his development would be better served in the English Football League.

Official move

The club’s official website announced on deadline day that, “Gabriele Biancheri has agreed his first loan move away from Manchester United.”

They also added that, “the Wales Under-21 international will gain experience with Rotherham United, for the remainder of the 2025/26 season.”

They finished by stating that, “we wish Gabe the best of luck during his time at the New York Stadium.” The young striker will link up with fellow academy starlet Dan Gore, who has been a regular for Rotherham this season.

The Millers also announced the move on their official website. They report that, “Rotherham United are delighted to confirm the loan signing of Manchester United forward Gabriele Biancheri, who joins the club in a temporary deal until the end of the season, subject to Premier League, EFL and FA ratification.”

They closed their statement by stating, “we are thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Gabriele in the latest chapter of what is sure to be a storied career and we look forward to seeing him in action for the Millers.”

Biancheri also delighted

Speaking to the club’s local media, the Welsh forward also expressed his delight at getting a chance in senior football.

Biancheristated, “yeah, it’s been brewing for a couple of weeks. I had a call with the gaffer a couple of days ago and he told me about the plan and his vision for me at the club. I’m really excited to get going.”

On making the move to senior football he claimed, “yeah. I feel like I need that next step. I need this challenge to test myself and put myself into uncomfortable positions, and hopefully I’ll become a better player and person from it.”

Rotherham United will next be in action on Saturday afternoon when they host Biancheri’s former club, Cardiff City.
