West Bromwich Albion sign Aston Villa midfielder Jamaldeen Jimoh-Aloba on loan for the rest of the season.
West Bromwich Albion have signed Aston Villa midfielder Jamaldeen Jimoh-Aloba on loan for the rest of the season.
The 19-year-old has made five substitute appearances for Villa's first team, and made his Premier League debut in their defeat at Arsenal in December.
He then came off the bench to score his first senior goal in the Europa League comeback win over RB Salzburg last week.
Jimoh-Aloba spent just under a decade in the Baggies' academy before moving to Villa Park in December 2023.
"This was the number one place I wanted to come because of the emotions and feelings I have towards the club," he told the club website.
"Those emotions are still in me deeply.
"This is a massive club that should be in a much better place and I want to come here and help and do the best I can. I'm determined to help lift the team.
"I was here as a kid from the age of six, so it's a place I'm comfortable at. It's a positive for me to come back and I can't wait to get going."
Albion are 21st in the Championship, just three points above the relegation places after a run of seven defeats in their past nine league games.
