Alec Bohm's Projected 2026 Stats With Philadelphia Phillies

Philadelphia Phillies' Alec Bohm could see an uptick in this area, according to one projection model.

After another offseason of speculation and uncertainty about Alec Bohm’s future with the Philadelphia Phillies, it looks like he’ll be back with the team in 2026, heading into a contract year.

Now that the Philllies know Bohm will be back with the team, it’s time to start taking a look at what type of production he can provide for Philadelphia next season.

According to FanGraphs’ famous ZiPS projection model, Bohm could be in store for an incredibly similar season as he did a year ago.

The prediction model forecasts the right-handed hitter to finish next season with an OPS+ of 107, meaning he would have an OPS that is 7% better than the MLB average. ZiPs is also projecting Bohm to finish next year with a .282/.332/.431 slash line.

If this ends up being the number Bohm finishes next season with, it would represent a slight uptick in each major stat category, but not enough for it to be considered a true breakthrough season for the 29-year-old.

One exciting piece of these numbers is that ZiPS forecasts an uptick in Bohm’s power stats, which the team desperately needs from the right side of the plate. The model predicts he will finish with 15 home runs, four more than in 2025, and 27 doubles, nine more than in 2025.

The encouraging part of this is that ZiPS sees this increase of power not affecting Bohm’s strikeouts. Last season, he finished in the 93rd percentile with a punchout rate of 14.6 percent, and ZiPS predicts that number to be 15 percent in 2026.

If Bohm is going to end up being Philadelphia’s everyday third baseman, and it looks like that’s exactly what he’s going to be, the Phillies really need him to be more consistent at the plate, and that’s simply something that we can see in ZiPS’ projections.

It’s also important to remember that this model only projects a players’ portnetial offensive numbers, not their defensive output. Unfortunately for Bohm, run prevention has never been one of his strengths, and it could still affect his overall WAR next season.

Hopefully, with perhaps a chip on Bohm’s shoulder with this being a contract year, the 29-year-old can outperform these numbers.
