Cleveland Browns HC Todd Monken continues to fill his staff, bringing back Jeff Blasko after a previous season in Cleveland
New Cleveland Browns HC Todd Monken keeps pushing ahead with revamping the offensive coaching staff of the team. When the 2025 NFL season ended, the Browns offense was run by the following:
- HC Kevin Stefanski
- OC Tommy Rees
- WR coach Chad O’Shea
- OL coach Mike Bloomgren
- Asst. WR coach Stephen Bravo-Brown
- Pass game specialist Nick Charlton
- Asst. OL coach Sanders Davis
- TE coach Christian Jones
- QB coach Bill Musgrave
- RB coach Duce Staley
- Asst. OL coach Ben Wilkerson
Heading into Monday, there have been no reports that any of those coaches will return to Cleveland. All but the first three are available to return if Monken prefers some continuity. Based on reporting, the Browns have filled some of the coaching roles on the team:
- OC Travis Switzer
- OL coach George Warhop
- Associate HC Daniel Stern
- Offensive Quality Control Ian Kolste
- QB coach Mike Bajakian
- Pass game coordinator Danny Breyer
According to Mary Kay Cabot, Monken will also be bringing back Jeff Blasko as the team’s TE coach:
According to the New York Jets website, Blasko has coached all over the offense before taking over tight ends in New York:
… five seasons with the Dallas Cowboys where he served as the assistant offensive line coach (2020-22) before being promoted to run game coordinator/running backs coach (2023-24).
Prior to arriving in Dallas, Blasko served as the assistant offensive line coach in Cleveland (2019), after working in Green Bay for three seasons, including the final two as assistant offensive line coach.
Blasko coached collegiately for eight years, starting with a three-year stint (2008-10) as a graduate assistant at the University of Akron. He then spent time at the University of Florida as an offensive quality control coach in 2011, followed by stops at the University of Kansas (2012-14) and the University of Pennsylvania (2015) as a tight ends coach with both schools.
To start his coaching career, Blasko worked at the high school level for six seasons, serving as an offensive assistant at Steel Valley in Munhall, Pa., (2002-05) and as an offensive assistant at Bethel Park, Pa. (2006-07).
Like Switzer and Breyer, Blasko also spent time at the University of Akron, earning his master’s degree in sports administration.
The Browns generally do not announce their new coaching staff until closer to the NFL combine. We will continue to update you on all the reported staff members as information becomes available.
