Enzo Fernandez sends ‘crazy’ message to Chelsea supporters after match-winning goal vs West Ham

Enzo Fernandez scored a stoppage-time winner for Chelsea against West Ham on Saturday evening.

The Blues were 2-0 down at halftime and received boos from the crowd at Stamford Bridge.

However, Liam Rosenior made some key substitutions at the interval, which completely turned the game around.

Goals from Joao Pedro, Marc Cucurella and Fernandez eventually completed the comeback in the 92nd minute.

The Argentine midfielder has now posted a message to Chelsea fans on social media after the victory.

Fernandez wore the armband for most of Chelsea’s victory over West Ham, and he put in a captain’s performance to match.

The midfield maestro has been excellent recently, silencing any doubts over whether he would flourish in Rosenior’s system.

His match-winning goal on Saturday became the latest of many memorable moments in his three-year Chelsea career.

Fernandez has now reflected on the Blues’ win against West Ham and an important milestone that he reached in the process.

“What a crazy way to celebrate my 150 games for this club,” he posted on Instagram after the game.

“An amazing win at home, altogether with our people. Thank God, all the glory to you always. Enjoy Blues.”

Chelsea supporters will hope that Fernandez plays another 150 games for the club, as he has become one of their most valuable players.

Enzo Fernandez’s Instagram post received comments from several of his Chelsea teammates.

Andrey Santos commented, “Ohhh Enzo Fernandez,” as the Blues supporters often sing in the stands.

Marc Cucurella replied with one word: “aura.” Meanwhile, Joao Pedro and Trevoh Chalobah posted blue heart emojis.

Whether it’s on or off the pitch, it certainly looks like Fernandez is a popular figure within the Chelsea dressing room.
