Fabrizio Romano re-shares post about Chelsea transfer as it looks to heat up

Fabrizio Romano has re-shared a post about Chelsea winger Tyrique George potentially joining Everton this transfer window.

The transfer expert is in for a busy couple of days now as we head into the final two days of the January transfer window, with clubs looking to get their final deals tied up and completed before Monday night’s 7pm deadline.

Chelsea are going to be looking to get a few deals over the line before the window closes, with the biggest one being the domino transfer of Mamadou Sarr’s loan ending and returning to Chelsea, with Aaron Anselmino going to replace him at their sister club in France.

Another deal that could go through before the end of the window is a Blues striker leaving the club. Auxerre want to sign Chelsea striker David Datro Fofana with discussions taking place over a loan with an option to buy according to reports. Fofana has been looking for a permanent exit since returning from loan this month.

As well as this, Tyrique George could be about to join Everton!

So, the transfer reporter posted the following on his X account 15 hours ago (at the time of writing this article):

‘EXCL: Everton send official loan with option to buy proposal to Chelsea for Tyrique George. #EFC currently leading the race for George as talks are underway with many clubs keen on Chelsea player.’

As you can see above, he’s now shared this post again, just 8 hours ago from the time of writing this article.

Surely going through

You get a sense that this now surely means the deal will be going through soon for George to join Everton for the rest of the season.

I think this could be a good move for him and hopefully he will get plenty of playing time, and Everton will sign him on a permanent deal at the end of the season.
