The Hawkeyes are becoming a week-over-week staple in the NCAA Tournament as ESPN's bracketology keeps Iowa comfortably in the field.
After a three-game skid, the Iowa Hawkeyes are winners of three straight Big Ten conference games and are suddenly looking like they might have found something. It could be a combination of who they have played and rounding into form in Ben McCollum's system, but wins are wins, and those wins are building Iowa's resume.
Sitting at 15-5 overall, with a 5-4 mark in Big Ten play, the Hawkeyes have become a staple in the NCAA Tournament projections. In ESPN's latest March Madness bracketology update, Iowa isn't going anywhere. The Hawkeyes are holding their seed line and could continue to improve it if they pick up some more wins against conference foes.
Iowa's next action comes on Sunday, February 1, when they make the West Coast swing to take on Oregon, followed by a date against Washington on February 4.
