The two have come to an arrangement.
Barcelona star Lamine Yamal has revealed he’s made a pact with Neymar regarding this summer’s World Cup which is due to be held in North America, Mexico and Canada.
Yamal has long made it clear that Neymar was his idol growing up and spent time with the Brazilian superstar during the summer.
Barcelona’s teenager revealed after the win over FC Copenhagen that he’s been speaking to Neymar recently and that they had come to an agreement about the World Cup.
“I made a deal with Neymar: if Spain and Brazil face each other in the World Cup final, we’ll go on vacation together,” he said. Yamal would also pull out a special celebration if he scores.
Yamal is expected to be a key player for Spain at the World Cup, and Luis de la Fuente’s side will head into the tournament as one of the favorites.
It’s a slightly different story with Neymar and Brazil, particularly as there’s no guarantee the former Barca star will make the squad.
Neymar is currently back in training after knee surgery, with Selcao boss Carlo Ancelotti having previously warned he must prove his fitness if he’s to make the squad.
