You might not heard of the Aces Elite STEAM Academy out of Arizona, but with the kind of 2026 national high school football schedule they’re putting together, they plan on trying to make some noise this upcoming fall.
Aces Elite STEAM Academy athletic director Chris Ace Griggsposted on X, formerly known as Twitter, that the football program had just secured an agreement with Compass Prep (AZ) for a 2026 game, revealing the total schedule that would rival many around the country.
The first-year program has already scheduled the likes of nationally ranked high school football powers like No. 2 St. Frances Academy (Md.), No. 3 IMG Academy (Fla.) and No. 5 Bishop Gorman (NV), respectively.

Among the other high school football powers that are dotted along the 2026 slate of games for the Goats are New Jersey’s No. 4 ranked Hun School, Georgia’s No. 42 ranked Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School and North Carolina’s No. 3 ranked Providence Day School.
What makes the scheduling interesting is the fact that Aces Elite STEAM Academy has yet to play a high school football game in program history, but are looking to come right out of the gates and play the nation’s best.
The Goats wouldn’t be the first to do so, however, as the The St. James Academy Strivers (Va.) ran a similar play this past 2025 campaign. The Strivers ended up playing several nationally recognized programs, including St. Frances Academy, Hun School, Good Counsel (Md.), The First Academy (Fla.) and St. Thomas More (Conn.).
