GREEN BAY – The 2024-25 high school sports year is complete, which means it’s time to vote for some of the top players and teams from the area this past year before the 2025-26 season arrives.
The final poll is for school of the year.
You can vote for the Cellcom Press-Gazette school of the year until 3 p.m. Saturday. You don't have to be a subscriber to vote.
Here are the nominees. Be sure to vote in the poll below.
Bay Port
The football team won the WIAA Division 1 state title, the girls volleyball team made it to state for the first time in program history and girls golf made team state.
The girls soccer team won a share of the Fox River Classic Conference championship and boys golf qualified for team state.
De Pere
Won the program’s first boys team state title at the D1 WIAA track and field meet. The Redbirds finished with 46 points, beating runner-up Mequon Homestead by one point.
Grady Lenn won two individual championships in the 1,600- and 3,200-meter runs. Andrew Cartier won the triple jump title for the second straight year.
Brooke Corrigan won a 100-pound girls state wrestling championship, while the girls basketball team went 22-4 and won the FRCC title. The boys basketball team went 26-2, won another conference championship and reached a sectional final.
The baseball team went 20-5, won the FRCC and reached a sectional championship game. Boys golf made team state.
Green Bay Notre Dame
The football team won the D3 state title, the boys track and field squad won the D2 team state championship for the second time and the first since 2002 and the boys hockey team reached the D1 state title game.
James Flanigan won shot and discus state championships. Joseph Hunt won the 800-meter run title.
The girls lacrosse team captured the Bay Valley Conference championship and reached a sectional final.
