In the event of Real Madrid and Vinicius parting ways over their disagreement about the player's salary demands, Los Blancos would consider signing Manchester City's Erling Haaland, as per SER via GOAL.
The aforementioned report further suggested that Real Madrid club president Florentino Perez has identified Haaland as their top candidate as a potential replacement for Vinicius.
Perez's plans include putting Haaland and Mbappe alongside each other to build a highly dangerous attack line.
Haaland's current contract at Man City is valid until the summer of 2034, and the Norwegian star has not been linked with a move away from the Etihad recently.
Man City are also not expected to be open to letting go of their phenomenal goalscorer, unless it comes for an irresistible bid. The 25-year-old has netted a total of 124 goals and provided 21 assists on 146 appearances for the Premier League giants.
