Talks between Inter Milan and Hajduk Split teenager Branimir Mlacic have reportedly reached an impasse.
According to Croatian outlet 24sata via FCInter1908, negotiations are still alive, but there’s one major hurdle.
It’s no secret that Hajduk Split are keen to offload the 18-year-old in the January transfer window.
Furthermore, they’ve already accepted Inter’s €5 million offer for their sought-after center-back.
However, the player’s family is throwing a spanner in the works, demanding assurances from the San Siro club about the youngster’s future.

Inter’s initial intention was to let Branimir Mlacic stay at Poljud on loan until the end of the season.
Though that idea sits well with the defender’s family, a lack of long-term planning remains an obstacle.
Indeed, Inter have yet to reveal their plans for next season.
Mlacic’s parents are keen for their son to be integrated into the club’s project without delay.
