“Sources say” – Chelsea would be willing to sell one of their big name players

According to a report over the weekend, Chelsea will actually be willing to sell one of their big name players in the summer.

There’s been a few stories out around this in recent days, and it looks to be a story that is going to be heating up as we head towards the summer transfer window.

Sources: Chelsea hold positive talks to sign Jeremy Jacquet and close on fee agreement!

At the moment, we are still in the winter window, so the summer might still feel some time off yet. But plans will begin already for transfer moves at the end of the season, so there are bits and pieces that will start to get a bit juicy now.

There is the situation of Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez, who is now apparently wanted by PSG in the summer.

But of course, it wont only be PSG who will be keen on the Argentine midfielder, with Real Madrid being a side who have been linked with him quite a bit in recent times, even before Chelsea signed him.

It’s certainly a situation to watch this summer.

TEAMtalk transfer insider, Dean Jones, has reported that Real Madrid sources have said that Chelsea have given signs that they would be willing to sell Fernandez, but at the right price.

Jones said: “Real Madrid sources say the club have been given indications that Chelsea would be willing to sell Enzo Fernandez at the right price.

“The midfielder’s future at Stamford Bridge is uncertain beyond this season, and Madrid have been monitoring the situation closely.

“While some Chelsea players are considered untouchable, it is understood that the Argentina international is not entirely off-limits.

“Sources suggest that initial exploratory talks have hinted, via intermediaries, that Chelsea could become open to a summer deal if their valuation is met.

“The player joined Chelsea for £106.8million – so any transfer is going to become one of the most significant fees ever seen in La Liga.”
