The Los Angeles Rams may have suffered a grueling battle in the NFC’s divisional round of this postseason, but they still managed to deal the knockout punch to the Chicago Bears.

The haymaker came on rookie Harrison Mevis's 42-yard field goal in overtime, a game-winning kick on Sunday to lift the Rams past the Bears 20-17.

The Bears were on the ropes at the extra period’s outset, with Rams safety Kamren Curl intercepting Bears quarterback Caleb Williams on the opening possession at a snowy Soldier Field.

In securing the victory, Mevis, aka the "Thiccer Kicker," became the third rookie this century to record a walk-off overtime field goal in the postseason, according to ESPN.

The Rams' quest to reach the Super Bowl will continue next Sunday. They will face the Seattle Seahawks in the NFC Championship Game.

Along with the win, the Rams' social media posts were targeting The Wieners Circle, a Chicago culinary landmark located at 2622 North Clark Street.

The team posted a graphic on Sunday night. This came in the form of renaming the stand "Weenie Hut Jr's," a reference to the animated series SpongeBob SquarePants.

The edited image displayed a blue "L" on a hot dog bun. It also altered the building's marquee to read "NOW PLAYING: BAD NEWS, BEARS."

Also, the Rams posted visuals captioned:

"Rams Brrrrr. Ice Cold."

The graphic responded to a marquee The Wieners Circle displayed on Friday, which read "COMING SUNDAY SILENCE OF THE RAMS."

It was an allusion to a Dec. 9, 2018, game for the Bears, who defeated the Rams 15-6 in that contest.

Chicago's defense limited running back Todd Gurley to 28 yards in that game. They finished with four interceptions of Jared Goff, holding him to a career-low 19.1 passer rating.

Apart from being known for aggressive service, the establishment previously distributed over 2,000 free hot dogs after head coach Ben Johnson celebrated a victory against the Philadelphia Eagles by appearing shirtless in the locker room.
