Bayern Munich are still looking for a defensive reinforcement with uncertainties growing over the future of Kim Min-jae and Dayot Upamecano. And they’re now linked with the 20-year-old SK Brann center-back Eivind Helland.
Helland is the captain of the Norway U21 national team, and he assisted Brann’s solitary goal in a 4-1 defeat to RB Salzburg in the preliminary round of the Champions League qualification this week.
With his contract running out at the end of the 2025/26 season, the 1.96-meter tall player could be available for an affordable price. However, Bayern will face competition for his signing including from Manchester United.
